ALS-Softwhere is built to respect your privacy. This policy explains what happens with your information when you use this website and our software. In short: we do not sell your data, we do not run advertising trackers, and our programs keep your information on your own computer.
This website
This site is a simple catalog of free downloads. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. Like most websites, the server that hosts this site may keep standard access logs (for example your IP address, the page requested, and the date and time) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are not used to identify you personally.
Downloads
Our software downloads are hosted on GitHub. When you download a file, that request is handled by GitHub and is subject to GitHub's privacy statement. We do not receive personal information about you from these downloads.
Our software (SBP and future programs)
Our programs store their settings, bookmarks, and listening positions only on your own computer. This information is never sent to us or to anyone else. If a program checks for updates, it contacts GitHub to see whether a newer version exists; this sends no personal information about you beyond a normal software download request.
If you email us, we will use your message and address only to reply to you and to help with your question. We do not add you to any mailing list.
Children
This site and our software are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
